Colin and Lorraine established the business in 2012 and it has been steadily establishing a sound reputation in the busy Auckland Housing market. A builder by trade, Colin had owned a successful building company in East Auckland in the past and for 24 years had owned a thriving kiwifruit orchard and labour supply management company in Te Puke. The move to take on a Building Business was prompted by the desire to get back into building new homes.
IKON Homes NZ Ltd undertakes new home builds. The company offers an extensive range of plans, which can be adapted to suit clients’ needs, and offers a full design and build service with an in-house designer. Clients can also approach the company with their own plans. Quality is an important focus. The Beaumont’s are members of Certified Builders and only use Licensed Building Practitioners for their builds.

Before getting back into building homes Colin had a highly successful kiwifruit orchard and crop management business in Te Puke. Colin completed his apprenticeship in Te Puke where homes were built the old fashioned way, and ran a successful construction business prior to venturing into the kiwifruit industry. Colin has a proven track record of managing successful business both in the industry and in other industries. His desire to be successful in whatever he puts his hand to is the key driver behind the approach taken at IKON Homes NZ Ltd, to not only build houses but build houses that we can all be proud of. Colin loves all sports and is an avid Yachtie.
Lorraine Beaumont
Accounts Director
Lorraine (Colin’s wife) has come from a banking and financial background and has been involved in business for many years. Lorraine is responsible for making sure that IKON Homes runs well financially. Lorraine is a key to the success of the operations ensuring that the accounting side of the business is under control. Making sure all invoices are sent out on time and all invoices are paid on time. Lorraine is a great mum and Nana to 8 grandchildren. She also loves yachting.
Paul Crawford
General Manager Operations
IKON Homes NZ LTD are pleased to have Paul as a part of our team. Paul fulfills the role of General Manager Operations and is passionate about all things construction and always strives to achieve the best.
Paul has many years’ experience in residential housing companies filling various rolls and has a wealth of knowledge which he brings to our team. His expertise in estimating, systems and customer relations ensures the smooth running of our operations with the goal of satisfied clients and a sustainable business. Paul believes strongly in team work and sound ethics within business. Paul’s wife Lynette is a great supporter of the business.
Fiona Wills
Architectural Designer
Fiona has a Bachelor of Architecture and many years experience in the architectural industry, as well as being from a family with a background in the building industry.
Fiona recognises that designing and building a home is an important event and loves meeting and working with Clients to find the best design solution to meet all their needs and desires.
Fiona is the proud mother of two awesome boys. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her interests include skiing, camping, fishing, running, crafts and interior design.
Rae Cliffe
In House Photographer/Videographer
Rae was formerly a New Home Consultant, but is now pursuing her dream of Interior Design.
Even though Rae is not in the office on a daily basis, she is still very much part of the IKON family, as our photographer and videographer working alongside Katrina to showcase our completed builds.
Between juggling family life, renovating her home, photography/videography, and also loves and studies Interior Design. Rae enjoys a good laugh, will never say no to a coffee or walk along the beach with family or friends.
Katrina McKinlay
Communications & Marketing Manager
Katrina is our Marketing and Communications Manager. Katrina is Colin and Lorraine’s daughter.
Katrina comes with a journalism and TV presenting background. Katrina Produced and Presented Central News, a regional TV news broadcast for the Waikato and Bay of Plenty regions prior to moving to Sydney in 2012. Katrina and her family, moved back to Auckland in September 2018 and is pleased to be part of the family business.
In Katrina’s spare time she enjoys getting outside for walks, going to the beach, camping and her family are fans of speedway.

Kail Watson
New Home Consultant
Kail is a qualified builder who has extensive experience in the building industry. He’s passionate about delivering high quality results and comfortably easing the path to enable his clients to make well informed key decisions regarding their design and build, house and land package and subdivision aspirations.
For fun Kail DJ’s and plays drums in a band, he can be found performing in local music festivals and events around Auckland, he’s also a keen outdoors enthusiast when he gets the chance.
